Backdraft Shop, Pottsville, PA:
Jeremy and Team Backdraft have been gearing up for an outstanding 2013 season by hammering away on a brand new chassis, and the excitement is at an all-time high. With just a couple of short months before their first show, the Backdraft crew is working overtime to make sure the truck debuts in top form without any bugs. New trucks are notorious for having problems, but the expert mechanical skill of Jeremy and crew have him confident things will go well.
"Honestly I'm more excited than nervous," said Jeremy. "Not that our other truck was bad or anything, but it's always great to have fresh iron underneath you and get to try some new setups for maximum success on the track. "
Indeed, that success is what fuels Slifko almost as much as the fans, and the anticipation of this season is higher than ever.
"I feel like everything I've worked for in my career so far is leading up to this season," said Slifko. "We want to be in Las Vegas for the World Finals in March, and having this great new equipment, the support of our sponsors, and extra parts in the trailer will help us put on a great show for the fans."
It's looking like a tremendous season for Team Backdraft, and it all starts in January. We will keep you updated on all the happenings with the team between now and then, as well as some fan features. Stay tuned!
