Daytona Beach, FL - April 23rd, 2015 - The 2015 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season will kick-off this weekend in Valencia with the second edition of the Valencia American Fest, an event that last year gathered over 14.000 fans at the Spanish track. CAAL Racing will field three Chevrolet SS for the second consecutive year, featuring an international lineup.

Back to aim at the EuroNASCAR title are Eddie Cheever III - the Italian won the Junior "Jerome Sarran" Trophy, three races, the prestigious Race And Win Pole Award and ended up third in the final standings in 2014 - on the #51 Chevrolet SS and Nicolò Rocca - one top-5 and 6 top-10s in 2014 in his second full NWES season - on the #56 SS, while on the #54 it will be young Israeli talent Alon Day to take the wheel in the ELITE 1 Division and French female driver Carole Perrin to go for the ELITE 2 title and the Lady Cup.

"It will be an hard and exciting season. We worked hard during the winter and we fond some new solutions to be more competitive," commented Luca Canneori, CAAL Racing Team Manager. "This year we want to battle for the win at every race. We know the level of our opponents is very high, but we also know that we have a stronger-than-ever driver lineup." The family-run team, owned by the Canneori family, enters the season with a very promising young squad: Alon, Eddie and Nicolò will all go after the Championship and the Junior Trophy, as will do Carole Perrin in ELITE 2."

The strong performances of 2014 are now starting to pay off: "We are really excited at the idea of flying to the US with Eddie to see him race as a prize for last season’s successes," concluded Canneori.

Alon Day, 23-year-old from Israel, is the new face CAAL Racing will bring to the ELITE 1 Division. Asian Formula Renault Champion, Alon built his resume in the German Formula 3 Series and overseas in Indy Lights, before switching to GT Racing. "I’m really happy to have signed with CAAL Racing and to be part of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. I’ll do my best to try to win every race. We have the right mix of team and drivers to aim really high. I hope to fight for the Champion’s ring at the end of the season."

Carole Perrin will share with Alon Day the #54 Chevrolet SS. The Saint-Etienne, France native is a known face of the European NASCAR series. She was the first female driver to score a pole position at Tours Speedway in 2012: "I’m really happy to be back in NWES with a great team like CAAL Racing. We have high ambitions for this season, we want to win the ELITE 2 Division and keep an eye on the Lady Cup. I want to thank Jerome Galpin, our Team Manager Luca Canneori and all my partners, The Saint Etienne municipality, Bouchet Architecture, ASA Ondaine and M2i-Fayard"

The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will kick-off this weekend from Valencia, in the contest of the Valencia American Fest, an american-themed event entirely dedicated to racing and family entertainment. The Series will then touch the Netherlands, The United Kingdom, France, Italy and Belgium, delighting the fans with four nail-biting races per weekend.
