The Austrian team fields a young lineup with Florian Renauer and Martin Doubek

Daytona Beach, FL - April 23rd, 2015 - After a strong first season that brought them the Rookie Cup and a win in the ELITE 2 Division, Dexwet Renauer Team is coming back to NASCAR Whelen Euro Series with an all-new young driver lineup. 21-year-old Florian Renauer will pilot the #5 Ford Mustang and 20-year-old Czech driver Martin Doubek will take the wheel of the #15 Ford Mustang.

"2014 was a great season for us and this year we choose to field to very young drivers. Florian will drive the #5 Ford Mustang with brand new colours and Martin Doubek will drive the #15 from Venray on," explains Team Owner Sepp Renauer. "Right now it’s hard to predict something for 2015. Being competitive in Elite 2 and go for some top-10 in Elite 1 division is our goal for now."

The Austrian team has two new drivers and also new partners. Dexwet is back as the main sponsor on the #5 car, Orion will support Doubek and Motul will support both cars. The whole team is looking forward to this weekend at Valencia, especially Florian Renauer. The 21-year-old Austrian driver has experience in GT racing, but driver is a rookie and has to work to get good results.

"I will work hard to improve my feeling with the car. I will compete both in ELITE 1 and ELITE 2 and it’s something new for me to drive in such a professional and international series. Here is the driver to make the difference. We will see where we are at the first race," says Florian Renauer, son of Sepp Renauer. "I’m doing a lot of sport, especially biking and coordination training to be physically prepared but we didn’t have a lot of testing time, so we’ll see in Valencia. I wanna thank all my sponsors and especially Dexwet and Motul. I wouldn’t be here without them. I’m really happy to have them onboard."

Coming directly from karting, Martin Doubek will enter the championship on the second event at Venray and will drive in Elite 2 Division.
