Miguel Angel Dasi Perez To Drive In The ELITE 1 Division

Daytona Beach, FL - April 18th, 2015 - The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series keeps growing in Spain and the season opener in Valencia will see the debut of Team Efficaciter, a brand new Spanish team that will field the #4 Ford Mustang for the entire 2015 season. Miguel Angel Dasi Perez will take the wheel in the ELITE 1 Division.

The Spaniard got his first taste of EuroNASCAR in 2014 at Tours Speedway, where he took part in his first ever oval race, and is eager to have his say in the race for the Championship, starting from his home race in Valencia.

"I want to fight for the Championship. The Series is very competitive, there are a lot very strong contenders and I want to be among the best," said the 26-year-old, who will race on home turf in Valencia. "I know the Ricardo Tormo very well. It’s the track I know best from and a lot of great drivers cut their teeth there. It’s a fantastic feeling to have the season opener at home and to see family and friends around, it gives me an even stronger motivation to do my best to win."

The ELITE 2 driver of the #4 Ford Mustang will be announced before the start of the Spanish weekend and the team is at work to be in the best shape when the lights turn green on the 2015 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season. "This is a long-term project and we have a plan including at least three or four season, so this is just the beginning for us," said Efficaciter Team Manager Avi Naveh. "We will have a lot of work to do, but we want to be competitive right from the first session. We look forward to a great season."

The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season consists of 24 races, highlighting six american-themed events across Europe. The series races in Spain (Valencia, April 25-26), the Netherlands (Raceway Venray, May 23-24), Great Britain (Brands Hathc, June 6-7), France (Tours Speedway, June 27-28), Italy (Magione, September 12-13) and Belgium (Zolder, October 3-4).
