Whelen Engineering is hiring part-time assemblers in our Charlestown, NH facility. We are open to flexible part-time schedules between our hours of operations of 6:00 am – 1:00 am. Whelen Engineering –a global leader in the emergency warning industry –has been trusted to perform since 1952. Whelen designs and manufactures reliable and powerful warning lights, white illumination lighting, sirens, controllers, and high-powered warning systems for Automotive, Aviation (Whelen Aerospace Technologies – WAT), and Mass Notification industries worldwide.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assemble variety of emergency warning lights and sirens.
  • Use basic tools/equipment to assemble product.
  • Bag finished product for shipment processing.
  • Operate basic assembly machinery.

Requirements

  • Entry level job with little to no prior relevant experience.
  • Able to distinguish colors.
  • Able to regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • Possesses manual dexterity to put parts/pieces together accurately and in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • TBD – Flexible part-time schedules will be considered between 6:00 am – 1:00 am Monday – Friday.

Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and third parties. This ability to communicate requires the employee to be conversant in English as the majority of our workforce and the third parties that we encounter only speak English.
