Whelen Engineering is hiring 2nd and 3rd shift assemblers in our Charlestown, NH facility. Whelen Engineering –a global leader in the emergency warning industry –has been trusted to perform since 1952. Whelen designs and manufactures reliable and powerful warning lights, white illumination lighting, sirens, controllers, and high-powered warning systems for Automotive, Aviation (Whelen Aerospace Technologies – WAT), and Mass Notification industries worldwide.


  • Assemble variety of emergency warning lights and sirens
  • Use basic tools/equipment to assemble product
  • Bag finished product for shipment processing
  • Operate basic assembly machinery


  • Entry level job with little to no prior relevant experience
  • Able to distinguish colors
  • Able to regularly perform repetitive tasks
  • Possesses manual dexterity to put parts/pieces together accurately and in a fast-paced environment
