Summary: Operation of basic machines. Inventory management and parts distribution.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set up (calibration, cleaning etc.) and run basic machines
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed)
- Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Knowledge of production procedures

- Completes assignments on a daily basis
- Proposes improvements to processes
- Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
Education and Experience
- High School w/1+ years’ experience
Physical demands and abilities
- Able to lift 35 pounds
- Regularly performs repetitive tasks
- Able to stand for entire shift
- Regularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and third parties. This ability to communicate requires the employee to be conversant in English as the majority of our workforce and the third parties that we encounter only speak English.
