The Core-R® vehicle control system is engineered to support the safety of first responders, roadside workers, and motorists through flexible configuration and dependable system control. Now available with enhanced safety and control features from Core+, included at no additional cost and with no subscription required.
With its innovative modular design, Core-R can scale to meet the specific needs of emergency and service fleets, allowing easy access to every connector and fuse from the top of the box. Core-R integrates with Whelen Command® software to support simplified system configuration and encrypted diagnostics.
Powered by WeCanX®, Whelen’s CAN-based communication system, Core-R enables advanced system coordination across connected devices. This architecture allows Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Sync to help create a unified scene by synchronizing flash patterns and tones across multiple emergency vehicles, and supports Dynamic Variable Intensity™ (DVI™) patterns that automatically adjust warning light output to improve nighttime visibility and reduce glare. As a result, Core-R delivers reliable device communication and fast system synchronization for fleets that demand versatility and control.
